Meet the Medical Assistant Team

A strong Medical Assistant is a critical element of an effective health care team. The Medical Assistants at GRMDC have a broad range of skills in both administrative and clinical areas.  They are responsible for a variety of duties that include rooming patients, taking vital signs, performing appropriate screenings, obtaining lab specimens and documenting important information for the provider.

The coronavirus has been making headlines and causing widespread fear. The World Health Organization declared that the outbreak of a novel coronavirus first identified in Wuhan, China, is a “public health emergency of international concern,” and, the U.S. State Department issued a “do not travel” advisory for China., The CDC is advising travelers to avoid all nonessential travel to China. Boston’s Logan International Airport was included in the more than a dozen U.S. airports identified by the CDC as screening passengers from China for the virus. Read more here on Boston.com
